ReplyIf IKEA came, I would have no problem designing my new home on a small budget. In fact, I'll wait.

To all the people, who comment and suffer from homophobia, I hope that the nearest and closest kid to you comes out of the closet. Discrimination is discrimination. The main reason why this straight guy, nor his son, will ever join an organization who looks down and shut out people of a different culture. It only teaches our children to judge.

ReplyI wonder if the people who are complaining about this actually has control of their kid. You just found out that she eats a big pretzel & cheese? How about packing her lunch or giving the school saying, "I don't want my kid to be a kid so give her broccoli, carrots and beets with a glass of soy milk." This is a step in the right direction so stop slamming HSD for attempting to make things better.

On the article New Restaurant: Dog Town Opens in Florissant

ReplyIt's a hotdog joint. I don't think its supposed to be that healthy. First, they are made with all beef dogs and that's better than the regular grind-whatever-up dogs. Second, I can't believe you compared Dog Town to St. Louis Bread Co. I guess when you want to pig out you'll settle for the Olive Garden. White Barn Burgers was just as sloppy a chili dog and a lot of people will eat both. Mr. JB, next time wait at least two minutes before you "Agreed" again on another story.

On the article Should Missouri Teachers Get Tenure?
Robert A. Williams

ReplyThere is no room for tenure. There are young, energetic teachers coming out of school that are willing to teach, while some seasoned teachers just want to collect a paycheck. I work in construction and I belong (unfortunately) to a labor union. If I mess up there is no tenure to save me. I just get laid off and have to job search, again. Educators should not get a pass from failure. Doctors lose their license if they fail, why can't teachers?

I got to the polls around 5:50am, and the line was wrapped around the building in Florissant. It took me a little more than an hour to get in and cast my ballot.
