$1 Million Winning Lotto Ticket Sold in Florissant

That ticket was purchased at Shop 'N Save at 175 Flower Valley Shopping Center in Florissant. The winning numbers were: 15, 16, 46, 50 and 58.

Two big-winning Lotto tickets were sold this weekend in St. Peters and Florissant. At the Aro-Mart on 3755 Harvester Road in St. Peters, a Lotto player matched all six numbers drawn on Feb. 16 to win the $2.2 million jackpot prize. The lucky numbers were:  1, 8, 27, 36, 37 and 40. Just about an hour later, another player won big in Florissant. The player won $1 million by matching all five white-ball numbers drawn during the Powerball drawing. That ticket was purchased at Shop 'N Save at 175 Flower Valley Shopping Center in Florissant. The winning numbers were:  15, 16, 46, 50 and 58. Lotto and Powerball winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In the case of these two winners, they have until Aug. 15. Missouri Lottery …

Update: Florissant Man Killed in St. Peters Crash

One driver has died after a head-on collision in a multi-car crash early Monday in St. Peters.

St. Peters Police have released the name of the man killed in a head-on collision early Monday morning. Jeffrey Conway, 27, of Florissant, was killed when his 2004 Monte Carlo crashed on Salt River Road on Monday. Conway was taken by ambulance to Barnes-Jewish St. Peters where he was pronounced dead. Police also released the names of the other drivers involved in the crash. Carol Motley, of Winfield, was the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer that was first struck in the crash. She sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital. Gregory Tucker, of O'Fallon, was the driver of a GMC Sonoma in the crash. Well said. I agree - we don't know that he was doing anything and my heart goes out to his family. I believe they were parked at the scene yesterday afternoon. (a caravan of 3 vehicle came and stopped there). But you do see it ALL THE TIME. People on the phone, texting, eating, playing with the radio or GPS...whatever it is STOP IT PEOPLE.
