The outgoing police chief enjoyed his retirement party on Sunday as he prepares to hand over the reins to incoming Chief Tim Lowery on Jan. 1.
Florissant Police Chief William Karabas, who announced his retirement earlier this year, enjoyed a retirement party on Sunday. Check out a video from the event at KMOV.com. Karabas has worked in law enforcement for 52 years and will serve his last day in office on Dec. 31. His replacement, Tim Lowery, will begin his duties on Jan. 1, 2013.
