Mercury Rising: Have You Switched on Your Air Conditioner Yet?

We asked Florissant Patch Facebook readers if they decided to cool off with air or stick out the 90-degree weather.

With the weather apparently skipping spring and going straight from winter to summer, a lot of residents have had to make a difficult decision—to turn on the air conditioner or not? With temperatures reaching into the 90-degree range this past week, we asked readers on the Florissant Patch Facebook page whether they had turned on the air or made do through the hot temperatures. Of the 22 comments made on the post, 16 people had decided to turn on the air conditioner, but there did remain a few holdouts. Kevin Blair wrote, “Not yet, the basement feel like 65.” Along the same accord, Mike Bond posted, “No. Cool the house at night, close windows late morning. It did get warm [Wednesday].” Join Florissant Patch for more community news or join …
