The burglary, which included others, was between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 4 and 12:30 a.m. Jan. 5 in the 400 block of Countryside Drive, according to Florissant Police.
A man broke into a home and stole several electronic items Jan. 4 from a Florissant home, police said. Deandre McClelland, 20, of the 1000 block of Derhake Road in Florissant, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and felony theft. Florissant Police said McClelland and others broke into a home in the 400 block of Countryside Drive in Florissant between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 4 and 2 a.m. Jan. 5. They stole a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a digital camera and 200 mm lens, a PlayStation 3, a PlayStation 2, three video games, a camcorder and a Nintendo game system, police said. An 18-year-old man and another person burglarized a home and took a car from a neighbor’s house in the 6800 block of Chesapeake Drive in North County, St. Louis County Police said. Malcolm Hodge, 18, of the 6800 block of Chesapeake Drive, was charged Jan. 9 with second-degree burglary, felony stealing and tampering with a vehicle. St. Louis County Police said Hodge and another person broke into the home in unincorporated North County east of Black Jack between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15. They stole a television, a platinum diamond ring, diamond earrings, a spare car key and other jewelry and household items, according to court documents. A South St. Louis man faces criminal charges for breaking into a North County home last spring and stealing items valued at $3,450. Jamal Hughes, of the 1900 block of Sidney Street in South St. Louis, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary, felony theft and stealing a credit card. St. Louis County Police said Hughes and others broke into a home at 11 a.m. May 9 in the 14600 block of Mondoubleau Lane in unincorporated North County north of Florissant. They stole three televisions, two laptop computers, a digital camera, a DVD player, jewelry and two credit cards. Police said the items were valued at a total of $3,450. Blood taken from a broken glass door helped identify a Florissant man who burglarized a North County home on Sherwood Court off Patterson Road, police said. Michael Lee Hodge, 23, of the 1600 block of Koch Drive in Florissant, was charged Wednesday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. St. Louis County Police said Hodge threw a rock through a sliding glass door and went through the door. Police said blood samples taken from the broken glass and the blinds next to the glass provided DNA samples that matched Hodge’s DNA profile. Hodge stole jewelry valued at $900, police said. Hodge told police he had an accomplice pawn the jewelry for him, according to the police report. Hodge was being held in St. Louis County jail on Friday. …

A man faces criminal charges after Florissant Police said he broke into three apartments on Flordawn Drive. Amon Freeman, 26, was charged Friday with three counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of felony stealing. His address is listed in the 1600 block of North 17th Street in St. Louis. Florissant Police said Freeman broke into three apartments in the 2200 block of Flordawn at Pelican Cove Apartments in Florissant: Freeman is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond. A police pursuit that began in Lake St. Louis, ended when the car rolled over along Highway 40 in Town and Country.
Highway 40 was completely backed up in both directions Friday afternoon after a police pursuit that began in Lake St. Louis ended in Town and Country when the suspect vehicle rolled over along the highway. As you can see from the photos included in this article, numerous police agencies helped assist in the incident that happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday. A man burglarized two Florissant stores owned by the same man on consecutive nights, police said. Florissant Police said that Marqual R. McGee, 21, of the 500 block of South New Florissant Road, broke into the Florissant Kwik Shop, 1253 Dunn Road, at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 1. He stole six 1.75 liter bottles of vodka, police said. The next night, he broke into Gabi’s Liquor at 710 South New Florissant Road and stole a cash register valued at $1,000 and $50 to $60 in cash, police reported. Both times, he got into the store by smashing out the door, police said. A witness spotted an 18-year-old North County man and a juvenile carrying televisions from a residence in unincorporated North County just east of Black Jack last week, police said. St. Louis County Police said officers arrested the men a short while later, and discovered the burglary was the pair’s second of the day. Cornelius A. A Berkeley man broke into a home in the 800 block of Thompson Drive on Sept. 10, according to a Florissant Police report. Trevor Mays, 21, of the 1000 block of Alder Avenue in Berkeley, was charged Oct. 10 with first-degree burglary and stealing items valued at more than $500, a class C felony. Florissant Police said Mays broke into the home and stole a 47-inch television and cash, with a total value of more than $500. Witness statements led officers to Mays, according to a police report. Florissant Police said that when Ryan O. Holiday was pulled over, he had one piece of incriminating evidence in his car: a piccolo. According to a police report. Holiday broke into a home in the 100 block of Taney Drive in Florissant between 10 and 10:43 a.m. June 6. Police said he took a computer, two televisions, a gold and pearl necklace, a gold and ruby necklace, a watch and a piccolo. Florissant Police said a witness saw Holiday carrying items from the victim’s yard to a Ford Fusion on the day of the burglary. Holiday, 19, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. He is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
