Jabori Dixon, 17, was charged with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft after police say he stole a TV from a home in Florissant.
Neighbors called police after they spotted a man carrying a flat-screen television down the street in Florissant. Florissant Police officers arrested Jabori Terron Dixon, 17, of the 700 block of St. Anthony Lane in Florissant, and he was charged April 26 with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing. Florissant Police said Dixon broke a window April 25 to get into a home in the 1100 block of South Waterford Drive. Witnesses said they saw Dixon carry a TV down a dead-end street and hide it in some bushes. Officers then saw Dixon, who matched a description provided by witnesses, enter his home in the 700 block of St. Anthony. Dixon is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $15,000. Florissant Police said Rocco Mantro stole cash from Mame African Hair Braiding and ABC Wireless on Dunn Road.
A man was charged with breaking into two Florissant businesses and stealing cash. Rocco Kurtis Mantro, 30, of the 1400 block of West Duchesne Dr. in Florissant, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and two counts of misdemeanor theft. Florissant Police said Mantro broke into a building at 1249 Dunn Rd. at approximately 12:50 a.m. Jan 8. Police said he entered two suites, one occupied by Mame African Hair Braiding and another by ABC Wireless. Mantro is accused of stealing $100 from the hair braiding business and $40 from ABC Wireless. Mantro is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $15,000. Two men face burglary charges related to thefts along Patterson Road in Florissant. Cody Garcia-Mauer, 18, of the 2100 block of Crane Drive in Florissant, was charged April 8 with two counts each of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. Arlondo L. Whitfield, 18, of the 6300 block of Hancock Avenue in Berkeley, was charged April 11 with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. A man faces criminal charges on two burglaries in Florissant in February. Barry Anderson, 26, of the 5700 block of Cates Avenue in St. Louis, was charged March 2 with two counts each of second-degree burglary and felony theft. Florissant Police said Anderson acted with another man on both burglaries. Charges have not yet been filed on the second suspect. Feb. 1, the two entered a home in the 3000 block of Sir Christopher Lane and stole designer purses, a laptop, a flat-screen television and an iPad, police said. An 18-year-old Florissant man faces criminal charges after police said he participated in a burglary at his neighbor’s home March 15. Cody Garcia-Mauer, 18, of the 2100 block of Crane Drive in Florissant, was charged Wednesday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing. Florissant Police said Garcia-Mauer acted as a lookout as another person broke into a house in the 2100 block of Crane Drive near Garcia-Mauer’s home on March 15. Police said a television and other items were stolen. Garcia-Mauer was being held Thursday in Florissant jail. Bail was set at $15,000. St. Louis County Police said Jerel Minor and others broke into the home on Lakeheights Drive Jan. 29.
A North County man faces criminal charged related to a Jan. 29 break-in at a home in Spanish Lake. Jerel D. Minor Jr, 20, of the 11800 block of Sheffield Drive in unincorporated St. Louis County east of Black Jack, was charged Feb. 11 with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. St. Louis County Police said Minor and others kicked in the front door of a home in the 1900 block of Lakeheights Drive and stole a flat-screen television, a laptop computer, an iPad, a video game system and 10 games. A witness identified Minor, police said. Minor was arrested on a warrant Feb. 14. He posted $750 as 10 percent of a $7,500 bond and was released from jail Feb. 16. A former St. Louis County police officer faces a stealing charge after being accused reporting that he worked overtime when he didn’t actually work. Michael T. Wood, 38, of unincorporated South County in the Bella Villa area, was charged Friday with felony stealing. He resigned from the county police department Nov. 8. He worked in the North County precinct at 11815 Benham Road. A St. Louis County Police internal investigation revealed that Wood submitted between 15 hours and 35.5 hours of fraudulent overtime claims between Sept. 14 and Feb. 17. A man faces criminal charges in two burglaries in Florissant. Ronald R. Stelling, 29, of the first block of St. Cornelius Court in Florissant, was charged Feb. 5 with two counts of second-degree burglary, and one count each of felony and misdemeanor stealing. Florissant Police said Stelling entered a home Dec. 28 in the 3100 block of Kingsley Drive in Florissant and stole two televisions. Police said Stelling also entered a home Feb. 2 in the 1100 block of Estes Drive by kicking in a rear door and a door to the garage in Florissant. He stole two televisions, police said. Florissant Police responding to a call for suspicious people in the neighborhood make arrest for burglary in 200 block of Boone Street.
Witnesses spotted a Florissant man carrying a television and laptop from a home on Boone Street toward his residence on Monday, Florissant Police said. Deon B. Green, 17, of the 500 block of Christina Lane in Florissant, was charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. Florissant Police said Green entered the home and took a flat-screen television and a Toshiba laptop. Police responded to a call for suspicious men in the neighborhood and arrested Green for the burglary soon afterward. Green was being held in St. Louis County jail Friday. Bail was set at $7,500. A man faces criminal charges for stealing a car Jan. 21 in the 2300 block of Mullanphy Lane in Florissant. Christopher Reed, 18, of the 1600 block of Jackson Lane in Florissant, was charged Jan. 24 with stealing a motor vehicle. Florissant Police said Reed stole a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am from the victim’s home. Reed was being held Wednesday in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $25,000.
