Neighbors Spot Man Carrying TV and Laptop, Leads to Arrest of Suspect

Florissant Police responding to a call for suspicious people in the neighborhood make arrest for burglary in 200 block of Boone Street.

Witnesses spotted a Florissant man carrying a television and laptop from a home on Boone Street toward his residence on Monday, Florissant Police said. Deon B. Green, 17, of the 500 block of Christina Lane in Florissant, was charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. Florissant Police said Green entered the home and took a flat-screen television and a Toshiba laptop. Police responded to a call for suspicious men in the neighborhood and arrested Green for the burglary soon afterward. Green was being held in St. Louis County jail Friday. Bail was set at $7,500. Berkeley Man Charged in Florissant Burglary

Florissant Police said the 21-year-old man broke into a home in the 800 block of Thompson Drive Sept. 10.

A Berkeley man broke into a home in the 800 block of Thompson Drive on Sept. 10, according to a Florissant Police report. Trevor Mays, 21, of the 1000 block of Alder Avenue in Berkeley, was charged Oct. 10 with first-degree burglary and stealing items valued at more than $500, a class C felony. Florissant Police said Mays broke into the home and stole a 47-inch television and cash, with a total value of more than $500. Witness statements led officers to Mays, according to a police report. Teen Walks Out of Florissant House With 42-Inch TV, Computer, Police Say

Florissant Police said the 17-year-old broke into a home on Countryside Drive and stole electronic items.

A Florissant teenager faces charges that he broke into a home on Countryside Drive. Ronnell Bryant, 17, of the 2800 block of Countryside Drive in Florissant, was charged Thursday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing. Florissant Police said Bryant broke into a home in the 200 block of Countryside Drive and stole a 42-inch flat screen television and a laptop computer sometime between 3:40 and 6 p.m. Aug. 2. Florissant Councilman Encounters Technical Difficulties with U-verse

Ward 2 Alderman John Grib addressed some concerns about the installation of AT&T U-verse at a recent city council meeting.

AT&T spokesmen are calling a Florissant City Councilman's U-verse installation mishap an isolated incident. Ward 2 Councilman John Grib is a new subscriber to AT&T U-verse, among the first in his neighborhood, located in his ward. The service, which includes TV, voice and Internet, is making a run on cable services across the nation. At the Jan. 10 city council meeting, Grib brought it to the attention of the public that his television stopped working at the same time his U-verse service was installed, whether the equipment or technicians caused it or not. "It's not a matter of me accusing AT&T of frying my television," Grib said in a phone interview. "I'm just saying, my television coincidentally got fried as the AT&T U-verse was getting …

I had U-verse installed a couple of weeks ago. The first week my service was out more than it was working.After numerous attempts to fix it by multiple att techs and 1 no-show,They finally got it working. However,The tech that fixed it,also cut my antenna and sattelite coax cables without my knowledge or permission. I still use the antenna. ATT refuses to repair the cables.
