Jesse D. Adkins is charged with robbing a North County Subway restaurant at gunpoint on March 18.
A North County man is accused of holding up a restaurant on Parker Road in North County. Jesse D. Adkins, 18, of the 6700 block of Culpepper Court in North County just east of Black Jack, was charged Monday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police said Adkins went into a Subway restaurant at 6805 Parker Road at 11:25 a.m. March 18 and told the clerk not to make any false moves. He pulled out a silver handgun and pointed it at the worker, according to a court document. Adkins told the worker to put cash into a bag that contained some cookies and left with about $300, police said. Police said Adkins was identified as the robber. St. Louis County Police said Paul Myles stole a car from a woman in Spanish Lake after the two met online.
A Spanish Lake woman had her car stolen March 30 by a man she met on the Internet. Paul Myles, 27, of the 9300 block of Koenig Circle Drive in Berkeley, was charged Friday with stealing a vehicle. St. Louis County Police said the woman met Myles on the Internet and they had a brief relationship. On March 29, he spent the night in the woman’s home in Spanish Lake. When she awoke at about 6 a.m., Myles and her 2006 Chrysler Pacifica were gone. Myles turned himself in to his probation officer, and said he left the Pacifica at Page Industrial Court in Overland. A man initially pulled over for a traffic violation sped away from an officer who stopped him, cutting off drivers on Interstate 270 at Old Halls Ferry Road, police said. Jamal Dixon, 26, of the 5100 block of Longhorn Trail in north St. Louis County, was charged March 14 with resisting a lawful stop and creating a serious risk of injury or death, a class D felony. St. Louis County Police said an officer pulled Dixon over for several traffic violations at 9:10 p.m. Feb. 18, 2012. A woman is accused of setting fire to her car, damaging nearby homes in North County. Alicia Pearson, 32, was charged March 14 in St. Louis County Circuit Court with knowingly burning or exploding. Court documents listed her address as the 2600 block of Knollwood Lane in Florissant. St. Louis County Police said Pearson drove through the Castle Point neighborhood and parked her 2005 Chrysler Pacifica in a driveway of a vacant home in the 10000 block of Viscount Drive at 2:50 a.m. June 1, 2012. Police said she then started a fire in the front seat of the vehicle, causing more than $13,000 in damage. The fire also damaged two residences on each side of the car. Police arrested a North County man who shot at another man following a fight over a girl, according to a press release. The St. Louis County prosector’s office charged Eric V. Rogers, 23 of the 3000 block of Willow Creek Estates in St. Louis County, with first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Rogers shot at a 32-year-old man Monday with a gun outside the driver’s side window of his car while chasing the man down New Halls Ferry Road, according to St. Louis County police. A video surveillance camera captured events surrounding Monday’s shooting of a barbershop owner in North County. The 53-year-old owner of 3one4 Barbershop was shot three times at about 12:46 p.m. Monday in a parking lot outside the barbershop, according to a probable cause statement. The court document states a surveillance camera in the parking lot captured “events surrounding the shooting.” It also shows a car that perfectly matches the one driven by Terrence E. Clark, 28, of the 3100 block of Rauschenbach in St. Louis, was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police officers responded to the shooting at 12:46 p.m. Monday, and received information that a white Malibu was leaving the scene. Officers spotted the car and pursued it to the 3500 of Cora Drive in the city of St. Louis. St. Louis County Police said a North County man drove at officers attempting to arrest him for a burglary and car theft in North County. Lorenzo Williams, 20, of the 8700 block of Culpepper Drive in North County, was charged Feb. 28 with second-degree burglary, felony stealing, tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and two counts of assaulting an officer. Williams, who lives near the burglarized home, is the second person charged in the burglary. St. Louis County Police said officers attempted to arrest Williams Jan. 11 and identified themselves.
