Scouting for Food: Boy Scouts to Pick Up Food Donations Saturday in Florissant

The 28th annual drive will come to a close on Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m. when scouts canvas area neighborhoods to retrieve bags dropped off last Saturday. Plus: what to do if you didn't get a bag or if your bag isn't picked up on Saturday.

Did you get a Scouting for Food bag placed on your mailbox or doorstep last week by a local boy scout? If so, you’ve still got time to fill it—but not much. The bags will be picked up on Saturday morning, according to the scouts’ North Star District Communications Chairman Fred Schaljo. What You Need to Do to Donate Schaljo said that anyone wishing to donate should place their filled Scouting for Food bags outside their homes in plain sight by 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
