District 68 Candidates Discuss Issues Important to Florissant
Candidates Rekha Sharma, Keith English will face off in the Nov. 6 election.
With less than two months to the Nov. 6 general election, the candidates of the 68th District have begun acknowledging where they stand on what needs to happen next for North St. Louis County. Both candidates tout similar issues and concerns for the Florissant area, such as jobs and economic growth. Republican candidate Rekha Sharma said that as an entrepreneur, she would like to bring jobs to North St. Louis County as it’s a fundamental problem for the area. Her second big issue for the area is to be able to freeze property taxes for senior citizens and being able to take care of them.
