Goldkamp Heating/Cooling Opens New Expanded Location

The Old Town business moved to a new location there recently.

Many residents might have noticed recently that Goldkamp Heating and Cooling can’t be found at its usual location on St. Francois. That’s because the Old Town business staple moved to another location in Old Town at 890 N. Lafayette to expand its business. “We’re excited to maintain our presence in Old Town Florissant and to find a location that meets the demands of our growing business,” Goldkamp said in a news release. “We look forward to serving our customers in St. Louis County, St. Charles County and throughout metropolitan St. Louis for many years from our new headquarters.” Goldkamp started his business in his home and then moved it into an Old Town Florissant building with 600 square feet in 2000, according to the release. Historic Florissant's Christmas House Tour Offers Old Town Holiday Charm

The tour will be held on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, November 25, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Looking for a fun, local way to teach the family about Christmas history? If so, you'll be thrilled to learn that Historic Florissant’s Christmas House Tour is coming up on Nov. 25. De.lish Cheesecake Bakery and Café had its grand opening on Sept. 30, to the excitement of the owners and customers alike.

Craving a delicious slice of homemade cheesecake? Have a hankering for a bavarian pretzel? Is a slice of quiche your ideal breakfast? If the answer to any (or all) of those questions is "yes," head to de.lish Cheesecake Bakery and Cafe, which recently opened in the historic narrow gauge train station at the corner of New Florissant Road and St. Catherine Street.
