Hazelwood was the stage for the debut of the very first Emerald Automotive van to hit the road in the United States. One of two prototype test fans, the t-001 was unveiled during a special ceremony that was held Tuesday for local dignitaries and business leaders. The debut was held at the Knobbe House in the Brookes Park in Hazelwood, where Emerald’s liaison office is located. Florissant Mayor Tom Schneider and Ward 4 City Councilman Keith English were on hand to attend the event and support the unveiling. I am excited to see what comes out of this. This is one of the single biggest things to hit this area in I don't even know how long. Hopefully this will keep spurring the business develpoment that we're currently seeing in Florissant and attract new people and residents to the area.
