North County Man in Standoff at His Home With St. Louis County Police

The man refused to come out of his home, but St. Louis County Police are trying to talk him into surrendering.

After a man refused to leave his North County residence Wednesday evening, St. Louis County police say they have spent their night trying to talk him into surrendering, according to a report from KSDK. Around 8:00 p.m., police were called to a home on Edison to question the man about a fight he'd been in earlier Wednesday. But the man refused to come out of his house to talk to them, so police called in a tactical team. While St. Louis County Police aren't commenting, KSDK reports that the family says the man is unarmed. Florissant Patch will follow this story and provide updates as they become available.
