Black Jack Man Charged in Drug Deal Shooting in Ferguson

Ferguson Police said John Dailey was one of three men who drove to a location near Hudson Park, where they planned to buy marijuana.

A Black Jack man was charged in connection with a drug deal that ended in a shooting Wednesday at 1271 Hudson Road in Ferguson. John Dailey, 20, of the 13000 block of Mystic Bend Lane in Black Jack, was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and tampering with evidence. Ferguson Police said that Dailey was driving with two others to Hudson Park in Ferguson to buy marijuana. Police said that during the transaction, one of the three men pulled out a gun and shot the marijuana dealer as he tried to escape. The man was seriously injured. Robbers Shot Dellwood Man During Drug Deal, Police Say

Two 17-year-old North County men shot the victim, took his money and cell phone during a drug transaction Dec. 23, according to a St. Louis County Police report.

Two North County men robbed and shot a Dellwood resident during a drug deal Dec. 23, St. Louis County Police said. Police said that Kai Bowers, 17, of the 4300 block of Vandals Drive south of Black Jack, arranged on Facebook to meet the victim to sell him drugs. Bowers went to the home in the 1600 block of Chesley drive in Dellwood with Dion Price, 17, of the 5200 block of Abington Drive in Black Jack. When Bowers and Price arrived at the home, Price pulled out a handgun and asked for the money. When the victim refused, Price shot him in the leg, according to the St. Louis County Police report.
