Black Jack Man Charged in Drug Deal Shooting in Ferguson

A Black Jack man was charged in connection with a drug deal that ended in a shooting Wednesday at 1271 Hudson Road in Ferguson. John Dailey, 20, of the 13000 block of Mystic Bend Lane in Black Jack, was charged Thursday with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and tampering with evidence. Ferguson Police said that Dailey was driving with two others to Hudson Park in Ferguson to buy marijuana. Police said that during the transaction, one of the three men pulled out a gun and shot the marijuana dealer as he tried to escape. The man was seriously injured.
