Florissant or the Wild West? Customers of at least one local bank branch may well ask the question. Robbers have targeted Commerce Bank, 8190 N. Lindbergh, three times since July 29. Florissant police have a suspect in two of the three Commerce robberies. In the incident on Sept. 15, a bank customer took the law in his or her own hands, keeping the man at the scene until officers arrived to make the arrest. Regions Bank, 1100 Shackelford Road, was the target of a robbery on Nov. 4. Police arrested 53-year-old Alicia Johnson in the case. This bank is only 2.6 miles from the Commerce branch targeted previously.
