As you’re decorating your home for the holidays this year, the City of Florissant has a message for you: don’t throw those old or broken Christmas lights in the trash. Recycle them instead--for free. In cooperation with Meridian Waste, the city will place a recycling container at the St. Ferdinand Park recycling center specifically for old holiday lights on Dec. 1.
