The evening will feature an elegant dinner in the historic Chase Park Plaza, a silent and oral auction, and live entertainment by St. Louis’ own Dr. Zhivegas--and it all benefits the children of the Florissant-based non-profit.
Marygrove, a Florissant-based non-profit organization that helps children and adolescents in need, is asking for the community's help to continue its important work. "We open our doors to those that no one else has been able to help and we teach them how to open doors for themselves," says Marygrove's mission statement. "We give them the time they need to heal and to realize the wonderful people they are inside" For more than 150 years, Marygrove has sustained and expanded its commitment to children in need, and it's the largest therapeutic residential treatment program in eastern Missouri, serving 170 children each day, according to a representative of the organization.
