Parents Get Probation For Hitting Daughter With Pipe, Wooden Poles

Angelia and Keith Brown were placed on two years probation, must attend parenting classes and comply with directives from the state Children's Division.

A North County couple was put on two years probation after pleading guilty to hitting their 14-year-old daughter with PVC pipe and wooden poles. Angelia and Keith Brown, of the 2000 block of Shoreham Drive in unincorporated North County west of Spanish Lake, pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. The original charge was child abuse, a class C felony. Circuit Court Judge Michael D. Burton sentenced the Browns to two years probation, they must attend parenting classes and they must follow all directives from the Missouri Children’s Division. Girlfriend Prompts Wife to Stab Husband, Police Say

Ferguson Police said the man needed surgery after being stabbed with a broken bottle by his wife, who was upset when the man's girlfriend showed up at their home.

A Ferguson woman is accused of stabbing her husband with a broken bottle after his girlfriend showed up at their home Wednesday. Tiffany Scott, 38, of the 300 block of St. Louis Avenue, was charged Thursday with first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Ferguson Police said Scott’s husband needed surgery after being stabbed with the broken bottle. Scott is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $100,000. North County Man Sentenced to 110 Years For Sodomies, Assaults

Kenneth L. Roberts Jr, was found guilty of two counts of forcible sodomy, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and felonious restraint.

A North County man received 110 years in prison for forcibly sodomizing two women and hitting one of them in the head with a bottle. St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Mark D. Seigel sentenced Kenneth L. Roberts Jr, 24, to 15 years each on one count of forcible sodomy, armed criminal action and two counts of first-degree assault. He also sentenced Roberts to 25 years for a second forcible sodomy charge, 20 years on the second armed criminal action charge and five years for felonious restraint. Seigel ran each sentence consecutively, totaling 110 years in prison. A jury found Roberts guilty on all charges Feb. 27. North County Man Intentionally Hit Person With Truck in Bridgeton, Police Say

Daniel Wilmas was charged March 20 with second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

A North County man is accused of intentionally struck a man with his truck March 18 in the 3500 block of Welland Avenue in Bridgeton. Daniel Wilmas, 50, of the 12900 block of Eadstone Lane in North County between Florissant and Black Jack, was charged March 20 with second-degree assault and armed criminal action. Bridgeton Police said Wilmas knew the victim, who suffered a closed head injury, cervical, thoracic and lumbar strains, and bruises on his right wrist and knee. North County Man Throws Rock At Cadillac After Punching Another Man

St. Louis County Police said Tyler Booth also illegally entered the home in Jennings intending to attack a person in the hosue.

A North County man is charged with assaulting another man and damaging a car in Jennings. Tyler Booth, 36, of the 1000 block of Saratoga Springs in St. Louis County north of Florissant, was charged Saturday with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault and first-degree property damage. St. Louis County Police said Booth illegally entered a home in the 7000 block of Idlewind Avenue in Jennings at Saturday to assault a person in the home. Police said he punched one person and then went outside and threw a rock at a 2012 Cadillac, causing more than $750 in damage to the car. Booth is being held in St. Louis County jail. Drunk Driver Crashed Into Car and Injured Motorist, Police Say

Thomas Gasperoni, of Florissant, ran a red light at Lindbergh and Missouri Bottom Road, causing the collision, according to Bridgeton Police. He is being charged with assault.

A Florissant man faces assault charges after police said he ran a red light, crashing into another car and injuring the driver. Bridgeton Police said Thomas Gasperoni, 31, of the 600 block of Meadowgrass in Florissant was driving while intoxicated. Gasperoni was charged March 5 by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with second-degree assault. Bridgeton Police said witnesses saw Gasperoni driving  at a high rate of speed Nov. 27 when he ran a red light at Lindbergh Boulevard and Missouri Bottom Road, crashing into another car. The other driver sustained a concussion, a broken collarbone, three broken ribs and cuts and bruises. Gasperoni’s blood was drawn at the hospital following the crash. An analysis showed his blood-…

Men Break Into Home, Assault Resident, Police Say

One man pointed a gun at the door while three others forced their way into the home, punching and kicking another man, Ferguson Police reported.

Four men forced their way into a Ferguson house Feb. 25 and assaulted the homeowner, police said. Three of the men were charged Feb. 26 with first-degree burglary and third-degree assault. They are: A fourth man, Maurice Boone, 29, of the 100 block of Fenwick Drive in Ferguson, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon. Ferguson Police said Maurice Boone stood in a yard in the 1100 block of Renshaw Drive in Ferguson and pointed a handgun at the man’s door as the others entered the home and assaulted the victim. Police said the three men punched and kicked the resident, who suffered a cut lip. Police said the men, who entered the home to steal items, all were arrested at the home on Renshaw. Woman Hit Parked Cars, Left Scene and Slapped Victim Who Followed Her, Police Say

The North County woman was charged with misdemeanor DWI, leaving an accident scene and third-degree assault.

A North County woman faces criminal charges after she hit three parked cars, left without stopping and slapped a victim who followed her, police said. Jeannine McFadden, 26, of the 2400 block of Rhapsody Lane in St. Louis County north of Florissant, was charged Feb. 28 with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and third-degree assault. St. Louis County Police said McFadden was driving in the 1400 block of Urbandale Drive in North County and struck three parked cars while driving, causing at least $1,000 in damage. Police said McFadden did not stop, but one of the other car owners followed her to the 2400 block of Rhapsody near McFadden’s home. Man Charged In Shooting of North County Barbershop Owner

The shooting victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.

A St. Louis man was charged with Monday’s shooting of a 53-year-old owner of 3one4 Barbershop in unincorporated North County. Terrence E. Clark, 28, of the 3100 block of Rauschenbach in St. Louis, was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. St. Louis County Police officers responded to the shooting at 12:46 p.m. Monday, and received information that a white Malibu was leaving the scene. Officers spotted the car and pursued it to the 3500 of Cora Drive in the city of St. Louis. Police said Clark left the car and fled on foot, leading officers in a brief foot chase before he was caught and arrested. Woman Helped Set Up Black Jack Man in Attempted Robbery, Police Say

The woman, charged with assault, called to have the man pick her up and take her to his house, where they were met by two men, police said.

A woman faces criminal charges for helping two men attempt to rob and shoot a Black Jack man. Chera Mason, of the 2700 block of Geyer Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault. A neighbor in the 12500 block of Evening Shade Drive in Black Jack found a man lying in her backyard bleeding from a gunshot wound in his thigh Dec. 15. Before losing consciousness, he told his neighbor that two men had been waiting for him when he opened the door to enter his home, according to a police report.
