The suspect took the 63-year-old woman's purse and then fled in her car. Police later spotted the vehicle, chased it into North County and arrested four juveniles.
A 63-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint Friday night at a parking garage at River City Casino at 777 River City Casino Dr. The woman told St. Louis County police that the suspect displayed a gun and took her purse and 2012 Hyundai Sonata. She and her 61-year-old friend were not injured, police said. Information on the vehicle was broadcast to surrounding police departments. Police later spotted the vehicle, chased it into unincorporated North County and arrested four juveniles, who were taken to the St. Louis County Juvenile Justice Center. The stolen items were recovered, but gun was not found at the scene. Police are continuing to investigate.

Police make arrests in two recent burglaries.
March 14 Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 1400 block of Flordawn. Two persons in their early 30s were arrested for breaking into a vacant residence, according to the report. Police will seek warrants for each suspect. At the time of publication, police had not released names of the suspects. March 18 A witness called to alert to police to a possible burglary in progress in the 2400 block of Flamingo. Upon arrival at the scene, the suspects had escaped, but police caught up with them following a short pursuit on foot. Police arrested two men for the second-degree burglary. Police recovered the property of the residence as well as for a residence in the 1000 block of Verlene. No warrants have been obtained for the suspects…

Paul Tripp has been arrested for abandonment of a corpse.
On Sunday afternoon, the Florissant police announced the arrest of Paul A. Tripp in connection to the Valerie Butler investigation. On Friday, according to KSDK reports, authorities labeled Tripp as a person of interest in the case. The body of Valerie Butler, a Maryland Heights woman who went missing in early February, was discovered in Bridgeton on March 3. Tripp has been charged with abandonment of a corpse, and his bond has been set at $50,000. He's been transferred to the St. Louis County jail, according to a press release.

With Christmas days away, burglaries in the area escalate.
Dec. 17: Police arrested a 36-year-old man who's suspected of second-degree burglary. The incident took place in the 700 block of Manresa, where police investigated a robbery. Officer stopped the man who was near the scene shortly after it happened. As of press time, police had not released a name for the man, and warrants have not been sought in the case. Dec. 20: A second-degree burglary took place in the 1500 block of S. Waterford Dr. Police responded to the burglary where an intruder had broken into the front door of the apartment and stole a flat-screen TV and a video game console. No suspects or warrants have been named at this time.
