Simmer down Ann. Women are becoming wimps. Don't they have pockets for their personal stuff. IRead More was really disappointed in the expose' on Channel 5. Lisa Ziegman didn't do herself and her credibility any favors by taking this on. Just a bunch of fluff.

Why do we have so many whiners about everything. Why do women think they have to carry the kitchenRead More sink with them to a football game. Ann Wagner, I didn't vote for you before, and petty stuff like this can add to the reasons why.

Geez what a bunch of crybabies. Personally I don't want to wait in a mile long line as they checkRead More every bag going into the stadium. How much do you need to carry in to begin with? Moreover, a lot of you need to understand Constitutional protections don't apply to private property.

Why is it that organizers keep holding fund rasing events for people and we never see or hear ofRead More this money being put to use in any way. It would seem to me that after five or six benefits for any individual that we would see some benefits of where this money if going. It appears that the organizers are applying all the money to cost of fund rasing and no one but the organizers benefit whatsoever. All moneys collected in benefits should be turned over to authorities or some kind of accounting institution so this money can be accounted for. Unless something like this is done then all benefits organized for someone of a tradgey should be halted so the organizers do not make huge profits in their efforts to bilk the public out of money that they have no intention of giving to an individual or anyone helping the persons being collected for. In a lot of cases the individuals being colletee for are already covered by insurance of state funded programs designed just for this type of thing.

Dear Mr or Ms C Eley, I am appalled by your comments and your insinuations. I was the originalRead More benefitee of this charity. The people that founded and work this benefit are absolutely beyond reproach. Some insight. They (and now my family and I) put in an unbelievable amount of hours in the preparation of this event. When the tourney actually kicks off the weekends are marathons. We're at church as early as 6 am and stay till after ten pm. Not only are the organizers donating literally hundreds of hours, also, the time keepers, refs, gate persons, servers....EVERYONE. We are fortunate to have many sponsors that TRUST in us. Something that folk's like yourself must have lost somewhere along the line. It's not done for personal gain or notoriety, it is done because they WANT to. They willingly give of themselves. A concept that we need to re-institute in this country. If you would research my comments on the local news media you would know that this tournament is about more then the money. In my case it was personally inspiring that people who did not even know me, came out to support my family and I. Not just the workers...also the folks that come from all over the region to support this event! Week #1 we had folks from Wentzville to Arnold to Alton Illinois. A challenge. Instead of sniping at this benefit; come out and introduce yourself to myself or one of the organizers. Spend some time volunteering of yourself! Your thoughts will be changed. Joe Eagan

This Couch to 5K thing sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind doing something like this.
