DINNER FUNDRAISER FOR KENYA MEDICAL MISSION

Vitendo4Africa a 501© (3) is inviting you for the annual dinnerwith a course on November 17th at JFK Community Center.This is event will bring together friends and well wishers for anevening of interaction and information sharing.

The aim of thisgathering is to raise funds for 2013 Kenya Medical Mission,Scholarship program, Youth program and other facets of theorganization.

We are collecting medical equipments and supplies to be shipped to Kenya by January next year. A teamof over 30 volunteers will then make a medical mission trip to Kenya in June 2013 to redistribute donated items and provide free medical services for a whole month.

As you see on the proposal and hospital images, these facilities are in desperate need of medicalsupplies such as gloves, sutures, gauze, scalpels, drains, and various catheters.Still-usable large-item medical equipment, such as monitors, respirators, beds, anesthesia machines,generators, solar panels, cautery units, wheelchairs, dental chairs, and X-ray units will have a big impactin these facilities. Please call us for a pick up if you have any of these items.One other key area we need to address is drilling of boreholes to provide clean water in these twofacilities. This will go along way eradicating preventable diseases brought about by lack of clean waterand sanitation.To make medical mission possible, vitendo4africa would like to engage our community and friends ofKenya in Missouri through medical equipment drive and financial donation.
