Robinwood Elementary Student Brings NHL Player to Show and Tell

St. Louis Blues Right Winger T.J. Oshie will visit fourth-grade student Tyler Jenkins Monday afternoon.

Most students bring a pride possession or pet to their classroom’s show and tell, but Monday, one student will be bringing his favorite hockey player.

St. Louis Blues Right Winger T.J. Oshie will visit Tyler Jenkins, a fourth-grade student at the school for some one-on-one time as well as for Show and Tell. Jenkins will also get a limo ride home from school with Oshie.

“I knew this would excite him beyond belief,” his mom Jamie Jenkins said. “I about fell out of my chair when I got the call.”

“For him to win this, it couldn’t be for a better kid.”

Jamie Jenkins said that her nine-year-old son loves Oshie so much that they’ve driven as far as Fairview Heights, IL to see the player.

The parents also got a little something out of the deal with two new Blackberry Curve 9370s.

Oshie will appear at Robinwood Elementary School Monday at 2 p.m.
