Florissant Native Named Anheuser-Busch Leadership Scholar

Blackman will receive a $5,000 scholarship and trip to St. Louis for a two-day leadership symposium at the Anheuser-Busch headquarters.

A Florissant man is one of 30 people in the country to receive an honor for his leadership and dedication to the community.

Aaron-Michael Blackman was awarded the Anheuser-Busch Legends of the Crown Scholarship. The designation is give to students selected from among hundreds of applicants from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country. 

Blackman will receive a $5,000 scholarship and trip to St. Louis for a two-day leadership symposium at the Anheuser-Busch headquarters.

Blackman will also receive an Anheuser-Busch executive as a mentor to help provide guidance and counsel throughout the school year.

 He is a 2009 Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School graduate. He is currently a senior at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
