Ferg-Flor Students Go to Washington to See President Obama's Inauguration

The students and their chaperones piled into a bus and headed out earlier this week.

A group of students and chaperones from the Ferguson-Florissant School District took a journey they'll never forget when they attended the inauguration of President Obama this week.

The group, which included 36 students and eight adults from McCluer South, took a chartered bus to the event after holding numerous fundraisers oer the past year in order to be able to attend the inauguration.

“It was really quite an effort by this teacher and his students to raise money for this trip,” said Jana Shortt, Ferguson-Florissant’s director of communications.
