Ebert Takes His Seat on Ferguson-Florissant Board
As board director Brian Fletcher steps away, Ebert and Paul Schroeder are sworn into the board.
Brian Scott Ebert got a big birthday gift Wednesday, when he took his place on the . Incumbent Paul Schroeder rejoined his fellow board members.
swore in both men during the board’s reorganization portion of its monthly meeting.
“I hope I can simplify things and base all of my decisions in what’s best for kids,” Ebert said moments before being sworn in.

With Ebert being elected to the board, board director Brian Fletcher stepped down.
McCoy and Board President Leslie Hogshead presented Fletcher with a photo and his nameplate to thank him for his time and dedication to the board.

“We are so proud for all of his accomplishments,” Hogshead said. “We thank him for all of his service.”
“I’ll miss all of my public service activities,” he said.
Fletcher continued to speak highly of Ebert taking over his seat.
“He’ll be fine,” he said. “It's nice to have another board member with children in the district.”
Out with old, in with the new officers
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the board elected new officers for 2012-2013.
By a majority vote, members voted director Paul Morris to the seat of president. Other officers elected on the board, include:
Vice President – Leslie Hogshead
Secretary – Charles Henson
Assistant Secretary – Paul Schroeder
