Be a Part of History with Valley of Flowers Mural Design

Florissant Old Town Partners and Northern Arts Council have put together a design contest for local artists.

As the quickly approaches, it looks like the annual event will be captured in a permanent art fixture.

According to NOCO, the Florissant Old Town Partners and Northern Arts Council have teamed up to sponsor a contest that will result in a mural design in honor of the 50th anniversary of the festival.

The article also states that the mural will be a 12-foot-by-30-foot installation along rue St. Francois and will be unveiled May 1.

The winning mural design idea will receive a $500 prize.

Currently, submissions are being accepted through March 30 and must be submitted as a JPEG with a scale of 1 inch to 1 foot. There’s also a $10 entry fee.
