Mayor Schneider Announces Store Names for Vacant Value City Spot

Florissant has four new stores coming, including Ashley Furniture Homestore and Panda Express.

Mayor Schneider gave the names of four stores, including Ashley Furniture Homestore, Ulta Beauty, five Below and Panda Express.

The Independent News previously reported that Panda Express would be one of two establishments going into the outlet building. It would be the first standalone store for the popular restaurant chain in the North St. Louis County area.

Ashley Furniture Homestore has six stores in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Ulta serves as a beauty and fragrance story for men and women. The store currently hosts locations in Manchester and Chesterfield.

five Below serves the teen and preteen market in a variety of retail, such as sporting goods clothes, jewelry and collectibles. There are three other stores in Brentwood, Manchester and Chesterfield.

Mayor Schneider said that two Florissant businesses would be relocating but would allow those stores to announce in their own time. The neighbor store for the outlot building has not yet been identified.

Previously, Rich Obertino of TRI Architects said that the new retail area will open toward the end of 2012.
