Florissant Realigning Streets, St. Ferdinand Entrance

The project will help with car and pedestrian traffic in the area.

Florissant street crews have been working to realign rue St. Francois from rue St. Charles down to St. Ferdinand Shrine among a number of summer street projects.

The project will eliminate a “jog in the road” and ease traffic flow of an area that has increased in a busy area in past years.

According to a press release from Mayor Tom Schneider’s office, the project was given priority to help improve traffic flow, safety and efficiency for cars and pedestrians.
