Florissant Council Gives OK to Park Police Payment Plan

Last week, the Florissant City Council approved the Walmart development’s proposed amendment to site plans, but a number of other items were also approved and read.

Check out what recently became law in Florissant:

  • The council approved the transfer of a special use permit from Asher Rohra to Exclusive Carwash and Auto Center.
  • Council approved Bill 8912 for a new compensation plan for past-time park police officers.
  • The council approved an amendment to Ordinance 6424 about changing the contribution amounts for employees hired after July 1.
  • The council also did the first reading on Bill 8914, pertaining to the Meridian Waste contract extension.
