Florissant City Council Weighs Pay Plan, Software Appropriation

The Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Florissant City Council will discuss an ordinance that establishes a pay plan for recreation superintendent and deleting assistant parks director.

In a memo to City Council and Mayor Tom Schneider, Human Resources Director Chris Roth requests an amendment to Ordinance 7754 “to replace the position of Assistant Director of Parks, Grade 11, with the position of Superintendent of Recreation, Grade 10.” The memo further states that there’s no established pay grade in the ordinance for Grade 10 and must be changed by council.

The council might also take a final vote on the appropriation of $10,300 for the purchase of software to better track fleet management.
