Florissant City Council Passes Ordinance for Special Election

Florissant residents will have the opportunity to elect a new municipal judge on Nov. 8.

The Florissant City Council moved forward with getting a new municipal judge in place of the late .

The council passed an ordinance on Monday night that calls for a special election of the municipal judge seat on Nov. 8.

At the beginning of the meeting, council president and Ward 4 Councilman Keith English moved to amend the agenda with Bill 8746.

Tim Kelly passed away on June 4 at the age of 63 due to complications from diabetes. In the meantime, Judge Robert Raleigh will preside over the Florissant municipal court.
