Florissant City Council Meets in Special Session
The Florissant City Council calls special meeting for big agenda items.
Usually the fifth Monday of the month serves as a quiet time at Florissant City Hall. This Monday, however, the Florissant City Council will be in full session for a special meeting called during the Aug. 22 meeting.
Three big items comprise the meeting agenda, including the council’s response to the o, an ordinance regarding the refinancing of the city’s bonds for major projects and the board appointments for the .
In June, Mayor Tom Schneider told Florissant Patch he would like for the full council to be seated before appointments to the redistricting commission were made.
