Florissant City Council Approves Disc Golf Course for Dunegant Park

The council approves a $20,000 allocation for a new course in the area.

will be the home of a new disc golf Frisbee course, with a bill approved by Florissant City Council Monday night.

The disc golf course became a strong possibility earlier this spring after Mayor Tom Schneider asked Parks and Recreation Director Ron Veach to look into the possibility.

Previously, Mayor Schneider said that Dunegant could become a destination for disc golfers.

The $20,000 allocation will be used to fund the installation of goals and tees needed for the course.

Mayor Schneider said the course would be installed before the winter, and he hopes before the end of September.
