Five Things to Know for Florissant Election Day

Before you head out to vote, we're giving you some basic tips and info as folks head to the polls.

It's the first big Election Day of the year for Florissant residents as council candidates, propositions and annexation line the ballot.

We're getting the Election Day started with some tips and information you might need to make it through the April 3 municipal election.

  1. Poll workers and ballots warmly welcome voters at 6 a.m. when the polls open their doors across the city and county area. Voters will have until 7 p.m. to cast their votes.
  2. Are you not sure what’s on the ballot or the candidate you want to vote for?
  3. Despite the odd-numbered wards having candidates on the ballot, the entire City of Florissant will be taking part to vote in four ballot measures. Make sure you know where to vote through the Secretary of State’s website or the St. Louis County Board of Elections.
  4. Make sure you let us know if you cast a vote today! We want to hear about any problems, experiences and other info you have about the polls out there.
  5. Stay tuned on our site throughout the day and evening as we check out polling places throughout the city and report on the incoming results after 7 p.m.
