Doris Graham Wins SLCC Trustee Seat

The former Ferguson-Florissant board member captured 47 percent of the vote to win the seat.

Last year, Tuesday night proved quite different for the educator, though.

seat with 12,861 votes and beating out three other candidates with 47 percent of the vote.

Graham served on the for 22 years. Last year, she told Florissant Patch that she had no hard feelings about the loss of her board seat.

“I will still be actively involved in our community,” she said. “I have a passion for our district, and I want it to be the best it can be.”

Graham will succeed Rep. Margo McNeil’s (D-Florissant) term on the board for the subdistrict.

Subdistrict 1 serves , , Riverview Gardens, Jennings, Pattonville, Ritenour, , Normandy, and school districts.
