City Closes Sunset Trail for Repair
Heavy rains have forced the trail closed for repairs for pedestrian safety.
If you’re planning to walk or run along the Sunset Trail soon, you might want to change your plans.
The City of Florissant announced the closure of Sunset Trail due to it being washed out from recent heavy rains, according to a city press release. The trail will be closed until further notice.
The City of Florissant in partnership with Great River Greenways are evaluating repair work and appropriations for the trail, the release stated. Both hope to have the repair work done as soon as possible.
