All Florissant Council Incumbents Have Filed

With one week remaining for filing, Ward 7 looks to be the only one challenged.

With one week remaining to file to challenge for a seat on the Florissant City Council, it’s shaping up to be a quiet April election cycle.

According to City Clerk Karen Goodwin, all incumbents have filed their nomination petitions, including Ward 1's Tim Lee, Ward 3's Joe Eagan, Ward 5's Keith Schildroth, Ward 7's Karen McKay and Ward 9's Ben Hernandez.

Goodwin also said that Jackie Pagano has filed to challenge Councilwoman McKay in Ward 7.

There have also been three others who have picked up petitions for Ward 5, Ward 9 and Ward 7 but have not submitted them.

Any interested parties have until Jan. 17 to file their petition with the City Clerk’s office. The election will take place April 3.
