5 Items to Help Get Your Ready for Election Day

Today, voters will head to the polls to decide a ballot issue for Ferguson-Florissant.

It’s Election Day, and voters will have a difficult decision to face at the polls for the future of Ferguson-Florissant School District.

Today, voters will decide to approve or disapprove Proposition A, which would increase a tax levy by 75 cents per $100 assessed valuation to help the district’s general operating expenses, according to a district press release.

  1. If you’re not in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, you are not able to vote. The proposition issue is strictly for those in the Ferguson-Florissant area.

  2. The district’s board of education approved the ballot initiative in May, and a committee on the district’s behalf has worked to get the community’s support on the tax levy. For a full understanding, read about Proposition A and its impact from our earlier story.

  • The polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

  • If you’re not sure where you’re voting, check Secretary of State's office or call St. Louis County at 314-615-1919 to verify where your poll is.
