Police: Couple Found With Nearly 50 'Party Drug' Pills in Florissant

Florissant Police said they found BZP, alprazolam and amphetamine during a car search.

Two West County residents face criminal charges for dealing drugs after Florissant Police searched a woman’s car.

Lindy Boswell, 21, of the 1000 block of Haversham Place in Des Peres, was charged with distributing drugs and possession of a controlled substance. Ian Bossi, 22, was charged with distributing drugs.

said Boswell showed signs of being under the influence of drugs April 21, and they talked to her as she was in the driver’s seat in her car at 900 Shackelford Road in . Police said there was a strong smell of burnt marijuana.

During a search, officers said they found several prescription drugs, including alprazolam and amphetamine.

They also found 48 ecstasy pills, later determined to be benzylpiperazine, or BZP, according to the report. Police said Boswell and Bossi both admitted owning the pills and acted together to sell them.

Bond for Boswell was set at $10,000. She posted 10 percent of the bond and was released Aug. 15.

Bond for Bossi was set at $25,000. He posted 10 percent of the bond and was released Aug. 14.
