September's Crime Numbers Stay Mostly Low Across the Board

The numbers compared to the same time last year have reduced, according to Florissant police monthly crime reports.

Florissantโ€™s September crime numbers decreased mostly across the board compared to the same time last year.

Burglaries, car thefts, stealing offenses and property damage all declined, while robberies increased by one from September 2011, according to the Florissant Police departmentโ€™s monthly crime reports.

Property damage offenses had the biggest difference with a reduction of 15 offenses between September 2011 and September 2012. Stealing offenses saw the next biggest decrease from 72 offenses in September last year to 58 offenses last month.
Last month, there were 28 burglaries committed, compared to 38 last year. In addition, there were 5 car thefts compared to 12 the previous year.

One additional robbery occurred last month for a total of two in September 2012, compared to September 2011.ย
