Police Blotter: Florissant Golf Course Gets Vandalized

Several incidents of burglaries and stealing occurred last week.

April 21

The received property damage overnight when someone spray-painted the windows of the clubhouse. No other damage was reported.

A second-degree burglary took place in the 2400 block of Soundview. The burglar forced open the rear door and stole four flat-screen TVs. According to the police report, a suspect has been identified.

Police responded to a stealing incident in the 700 block of St. Francois when someone stole a generator from the basement.

Someone stole two car stereos and four tires from the 12800 block of New Halls Ferry.

A stealing incident occurred in the 1000 block of Dunn Road when whole and partial air conditioners were stolen.

April 25

A second-degree burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Night where copper was taken from the basement of a vacant home.

Police responded to a stealing incident in the 2700 block of North Highway 67. Someone stole a purse with credit cards.

A second-degree arson took place in the 1600 block of Gallop Drive. According to the report, gas or some kind of accelerant had been poured on a 1991 Chevrolet Van and lit on fire, but damage was minimal to the vehicle.

April 26

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 1100 block of Apache Drive. A man was seen entering a vacant residence, and once police arrived ran out. He escaped on foot and officers lost him in Cheyenne and Shawnee. Police found the suspect’s car and his identification from the car.

April 27

In the 13900 block of New Halls Ferry, police arrested two people for using fraudulent identification and credit cards.

A white 2000 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the 2300 block of Patterson Road.
