North County Man Accused of Choking Wife, Dragging Her From Vehicle, Police Say

Walter T. Moore was charged with second-degree domestic assault.

A North County man is accused of choking his wife July 16 at the couple’s home.

Walter T. Moore, 35, of the 11800 block of Seven Hills Road in North County, was charged July 17 with second-degree domestic assault.

St. Louis County Police said Moore choke his wife and dragged her by the neck out of a vehicle. Police said marks were visible on the woman’s neck.

Moore is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $50,000.
