No Personal Fireworks Allowed

We're sending a reminder that using or having fireworks in Florissant is illegal.

If you’re looking to brighten their with a few sparklers or fireworks of your own, you’ll have to travel outside of the St. Louis County limits. 

The sale, use and possession of in St. Louis County is illegal, which includes Florissant and all of the other 91 municipalities.

If someone is found to be in violation of this law, the fine could be from $50 to $1,000.

Rick Eckhard, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department, said his office steps up patrols around the holiday and typically receives an increased number of calls regarding the use of fireworks. 

For a safe and legal use of fireworks, Florissant will have a band and fireworks show on the Fourth of July at 7:30 at the .
