Teen That Stashed Flat Screen TV in Bushes Later Arrested

Jabori Dixon, 17, was charged with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft after police say he stole a TV from a home in Florissant.

Neighbors called police after they spotted a man carrying a flat-screen television down the street in Florissant.

Florissant Police officers arrested Jabori Terron Dixon, 17, of the 700 block of St. Anthony Lane in Florissant, and he was charged April 26 with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing.

Florissant Police said Dixon broke a window April 25 to get into a home in the 1100 block of South Waterford Drive. Witnesses said they saw Dixon carry a TV down a dead-end street and hide it in some bushes.

Officers then saw Dixon, who matched a description provided by witnesses, enter his home in the 700 block of St. Anthony.

Dixon is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $15,000.
