Missing Florissant Teen Found Safe
Police returned the 13-year-old to her family late last week.
After thousands of social media shares and retweets, a Florissant girl has been found and returned safe and sound.
Dawn Hayes, mother of 13-year-old Teiona Hayes, said she was returned home by police late last week. She said she didn't have any injuries, and police found her on Lindbergh.
Flyers had been posted around the area for Teiona Hayes, 13 of Florissant. She was last seen in St. Ferdinand Park last Monday with three boys, according to a post on Facebook.
Hayes said the overwhelming number of offers for help and support stunned her, but it was greatly appreciated by her family.
"I'm so thankful for everyone," she said.
