Man Stole Brief Case at Gas Station, Owner Fought to Get It Back, Police Say
The man was charged Monday with attempted second-degree robbery.
A man tried to steal a brief case at a gas station at North Highway 67 and Old Halls Ferry Road in North County, police said.
Anthony X. Irvin, 38, of the 1100 block of Riverview Blvd in St. Louis, was charged Monday with second-degree attempted robbery.
St. Louis County Police said Irvin took a brief case from a car Jan. 19 at a Mobil gas station at 4132 North Highway 67. When the owner confronted him, the two men began fighting. The owner got the brief case back.

Bail for Irvin was set at $10,000.
