Man Robbed U.S. Bank in North County Friday, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said Taryton J. Lane still is at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.

A Spanish Lake man is accused of robbing a bank in North County Friday.

Taryton J. Lane, 28, of the 11800 block of Hidden Lake Drive in Spanish Lake, was charged Monday with first-degree robbery. Lane still is at large.

St. Louis County prosecutors said Lane robbed the U.S Bank at 2885 Netherton Road in unincorporated North County Friday.

St. Louis County Police said Lane passed a note, which implied he had a gun, to the teller. The teller then gave him an undetermined amount of money before he left the bank on foot.

Lane currently is at large and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
