Man Invaded Florissant Home, Robbed 72-Year-Old Man, Police Say

A man was charged in Tuesday’s home invasion in the 2100 block of Argo Drive in Florissant. Police said Frederick Camerson, 52, threw a brick through a sliding glass door at the home while the owner was home.

Florissant Police said Camerson then shoved and threatened a 72-year-old man and demanded cash and his car keys. Camerson grabbed cash and the keys from the man and drove off in his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

Camerson, 52, of the 8100 block of Marilyn Court in Berkeley, was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.

Camerson is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $100,000, and he is to have no contact with the victim.
