Man Faces Charge of Hitting Girlfriend In Head With 2X4

The Florissant man also was indicted for assaulting another man during the incident.

A Florissant man was indicted by a St. Louis grand jury Jan. 30 on charges of second-degree assault, third-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Florissant Police said Kevin Booker, 46, hit his girlfriend in the head with a 2X4 at the couple’s home in the 2700 block of Countryside Drive in Florissant Dec. 14.

He also is accused of punching a man during the same altercation.

Booker is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $35,000, cash-only bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 19.
