Man Dies in Fatal Car Accident on I-270
A St. Louis man was pronounced dead following a fatal car accident near Florissant on Saturday night.
A 41-year-old man from St. Louis died Saturday night in a fatal car accident along Interstate 270 near Florissant.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, James Yount was driving along I-270, just west of West Florissant Avenue when he traveled off the left side of the highway, struck a concrete barrier and overturned his car, which ejected him from the vehicle.
Young was rushed to DePaul Hospital but was pronounced dead after arriving.

A passenger in the car, a 40-year-old female, sustained minor injuries during the accident.
Neither person was wearing a safety belt, the highway patrol said.
